About garten

The idea of Garten is to share the beauty, culture, and wonder of El Salvador with a new type of tourist - one who expects certain standards while also wanting to be the first to experience the next great tourism destination, and have the story before any of their friends.

But most importantly, we want to make the people, food, and music accessible to all who wish to enjoy it. The people and communities along the coast are as inclusive and effusive as anywhere in the world. It is routine for vacationers to “pass through” and find themselves still around 5-10 years later.

Our experts on staff have lifelong experience in the water, on the water, on the hiking trail, in the coffee fields, and among the Mayan ruins. We are dedicated to making sure that each guest finds the little slice of what they are looking for out of their vacation, and then adding in extra helpings based on their pre-trip preferences.
